Đánh giá postDo the locals still ballroom dance in the streets/parks if so where and when? We are experienced dancers and it would be great to be able to go dancing with a locals. Waltz, tango, foxtrot, rhumba, cha cha, jive, rock & roll, salsa anything like that were up for.
Not really into the dance club scene as such but any more formal venues that feature dancing more than loud bands wed be interested in too..
Basically Im trying to figure out whether bring a pair of shoes is a waste of space or not!

A pity youre not going to Hanoi dancing the tango etc. with Hanoians next to Hoan Kiem Lake in the evening takes some beating.

The Lindy Hop Club has moved and I cant find where they meet now and while Kim is away in Montreal I am struggling to find them without her help, sorry..

Your best bet is either early in the morning around 6:30 A.M. 7:30 A.M.

and in the evening, 7:00 P.M., especially on the weekends.
The most popular park is the one near the airport: Công viên Gia Định.
You can look it up on Google map.
Cong Vien = Park.
The Lê Văn Tám and Lê Thị Riêng Parks are also popular with the locals.
The LTR park is in Tân Định, near where DP stays.
In district 1, check out the 23/9 Park just off the Backpacker area.

Thanks guys Ill check some of these out Im not usually a morning person but I am usually awake real early the first few days after flying from NZ!
