    Transvision Vamp get their third UK top twenty hit this week as they go up ten places following their new entry last week with the follow up to “Baby I Don’t Care”.
  • 14. Hillsborough – “Ferry Across The Mersey”
    The former three week chart topper from Gerry Marsden, Holly Johnson, Paul McCartney, The Christians and producers Stock Aitken Waterman falls eleven places this week and right out of the top five and the top ten.

    Following them is Lynne Hamilton who drops six places with the theme from Prisoner: Cell Block H.

    While Danny “D-Mob” Poku climbs seven this week with his second single and his second top twenty hit, the follow up to “We Call it Acieed”.

This week, thirty years ago, there were seven new entry’s, fifteen climbers and four non-movers! And it was announced like this…
