You can sell a lot of items on the platform. Toys, cars, and furniture are the top categories. I currently have toys, board games, jerseys, shoes, and booked listed on OfferUp. Large items like furniture do well because you dont have to worry about shipping them. If someone wants to buy something they will contact you via the app. From there, you two will figure out a safe place to complete the transaction.

There are two options within OfferUp. You have the option for people to pick up the item and the option to ship the item. With the pick-up option, its 100% không lấy phí. If you choose to ship your item where will be a fee. Its a minimum of $1.99 or !2.9% of the sale price. If you decide to ship items, you choose a box size for the item. The box size will be the shipping cost that the buyer pays. The prices range from $3.29 to $13.99. You have to provide the box for the item. Once the item sells, youll be sent one of the shipping labels. You have three days to send the item. I typically send my items the next business day. Once the buyer receives the item, they have two days to evaluate it. Once they do that, you get paid.
It does not cost anything to list the items. You can list 50 or 500 items and it will be không lấy phí to list them.
If you want to try and get more sales, you can pay a small fee to bump an item to the top of the search so that you can get more views.

When you open up the app youll be on the home screen. You can see items that are the newest or closest to you. You can change the settings to also see the cost of the items. Also, you can choose to see which items are available for pick up or shipping. Theres also a tab for you to see the different categories that OfferUp has.
Messages
Next to the home button, you will see a button that says messages. You can see all the messages that you and potential buyers have sent out. You also get messages when you receive a payment. Theres also a notification tab on there too.
Post
The next button you see is a camera that says post. You tap that when you have an item that you are ready to sell on OfferUp.
Offers
The offers button is next. It will show you four different things in this area.
Selling
You see every item that you currently have for sale on Offerup
Buying
If youve purchased something in the past, you can see that item in this area.
Boards
You can create boards of OfferUp. The boards allow you to organize and collect items that you find on the platform. For example, if you were looking for NBA jerseys, you could create a board to save them in.
Archive
At the top, youll see a thư mục. It is the archive thư mục. It shows you every item that you have attempted to sell before on the platform. The items will have a sold or unlisted tag on them. Thats good if you like to keep a record of what youve sold on OfferUp.
Account
The last button that youll see is account. It has all your account info in there including name, location, and feedback. It shows you different ways that you can verify yourself. Sellers that are verified in more ways get more sales. Being verified shows potential buyers that you are trustworthy. You will also see transactions, saves, account info, and a help section. Take some time to click on each link in this area. Its some important info that you should read if you are serious about learning how to sell on OfferUp.

Log in the app and press the post image at the bottom.
Select photos and create the title for the item.
Once you add that info, click next.
Next, you need to select a category, choose a condition, and write your description of the item.
The next thing that you have to do is set your price
Decide if you want to sell your item locally or not. In this example, Im going to list this item so that anyone in the country can buy it. Once that is done, Im going to click next
Now, you will see what your listing looks like. If you are satisfied, click on post.
Your item is now live for people to see. You will see options to sell it faster, post another item, or share your item. If you dont want to do any of that, just click the done button
You are ready to sell on OfferUp.
